relevant

It’s been a while…again

I’ve been thinking a lot about my name. ‘Irrelevant individual’. I’m trying to figure out if it’s hindering my self-growth, or if in some way, it’s reassuring.

Isn’t that how life is? Aren’t we both very relevant in this earth, and yet, at the same time we are completely insignificant. There’s something terrifying, but freeing about that thought.

Excuse my existential panic. I’m on a spiritual journey and it’s forcing its way into every aspect of my life.

It’s just passed my two year anniversary of this blog, and my sixteen year anniversary of life. I got into a school I’ve been dreaming about for years, and I haven’t even been able to celebrate it, the fears of leaving my home are too plaguing. I’ve been reaching out for guidance, looking within and all that spiritual stuff.

Anyways, I would love to talk to anyone on a more personal level. Comment if you want to chat ❀

Oh and would anyone be interested in more spiritual posts?

Recently, I’ve really felt a connection to the name Venus. I might be working on a little rebranding for this account so stay tuned for that hehe.

  1. hi again—you got into the school you were dreaming about!?!!? thats awesome!! now you know dreams do come true!! the thing about fear—as you mentioned in your post—i’ve learned that its always going to be around—but what i have also learned over the years is that we are more than what we feel—you are more than what you feel!! life is always changing and sometimes adapting to that change can be hard—its like throwin comfortable away and embracing uncomfortable–scary, i know—but it can be worth it. if you’re a dreamer you have to get used to doing it afraid, because you are more than your fears, you are needed for far greater things venus πŸ™‚

  2. Human life seems irrelevant, but life itself is quite relevant. I read somewhere that life on Earth has been around for 20% of the universe’s current “life.” I’d say that’s pretty relevant. And yet, life came as nothing short of a miracle. Dead matter coming together to make something living.

That itself makes things a bit easier to think, discuss, or not worry about. We are a speck of dust in space, but a very special speck of dust in space.
